- Take personal responsibility for your own and the health and safety of others under your direction, setting a safety culture of the highest level that is lead by your example
- Take ownership of any health and safety and food safety issues (following an audit, inspection or event) and manage to an improved solution
- Instil a culture of compliance by ensuring your team are briefed and compliant with the Food Policies (i.e. cultural, religious, ethnic, allergies, special diets)
- Consult with the Food Development Team and Customers to develop menus responding to feedback
- Lead contract negotiations as necessary and in line with the contract
- Take ownership for concluding all negotiations, escalating issues when appropriate
- Level 3 (or above) food safety certificate
- Intermediate health and safety certificate
- Experience at Area Manager level in the food and hospitality industry (ideally in school catering) with multi-site management
- Excellent experience of successfully managing a Profit and Loss account
- Good presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills
