    Summary:We are seeking a Contracts Manager who will manage the delivery of multiple projects concurrently. They will work closely alongside the Construction Manager to ensure projects are planned, coordinated, executed safely, on time, to a high standard on budget whilst maintaining excellent client relationships.
    Essential Responsibilities:The Contracts Manager will:
    • Oversee and manage projects to ensure they are delivered safely on time, within budget and to the highest quality possible
    • Client and sub-contractor liaison for projects under your management, building and maintaining good relationships
    • Manage the site teams to ensure project requirements are fulfilled and meet the contract requirements
    • Produce project reports for the management team and for clients
    • Attend site progress meetings and sub-contractor meetings
    • Identify project risks and put strategies in place to minimise likelihood of occurrence
    • Keep project plans, records, and paperwork up to date and organised
    • Regularly visit sites ensuring that all necessary resources and information are made available to achieve programme dates and completing quality checks so the schemes are delivered to a high standard.
    • Work closely with the Health and Safety advisors to promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management.
    Key Skills:
    • Experience of working as a Contracts Manager
    • Experience on new build projects for housing associations and/or private developers
    • Track record of working and delivering concurrent projects
    • Excellent communication skills at all levels with the ability to motivate others
    • Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills
    • Hardworking, flexible, and reliable with good attention to detail
    • Adaptable and works well under pressure.
    • Have a good knowledge of Microsoft packages
    • Ability to plan, programme and monitor project build sequence of projects
    • Knowledgeable in health and safety obligations, building legislation and NHBC/Premier standards.
