- Point ofcontact between Club and League including submission of allrequired information
- Ensure Academy compliancewith all rules and regulations of the various football authoritiesand the timely completion of relevant documentation
- Ensure that all contact with players complieswith the Clubs Safeguarding Policy and that any concerns are sharedwith the Safeguarding Team through appropriatechannels.
- To ensure all aspects of footballrules regulations and requirements are fully communicated to theAcademy Management Team the Academy Governance Committee and adviserelevant personnel of the Clubs obligations and responsibilitiesunder the relevant regulations
- Support AcademyOperations Manager with all external audits preparing documentationand briefing Heads ofDepartment
- Facilitate theregistration of all Academy players in accordance with YD rulesincluding loans and triallists
- To conform andmonitor player eligibility
- Administration ofthe annual player retain and releaseprocess
- Liaisewith opposition clubs on the arrangements for both home and awaymatches
- Manage the arrangements and reportingrequirements relating to match officials and emergency services forall fixtures
- Manage directors scouts andvisiting officials guestlists for matches at our AcademyStadium
- On call for matches to ensure smoothmatchday operations with the Academy OperationsManager
- Embeddingnew administrative systems and processes for U9U16 agegroups
- Admin support to Academy Director andthe Academy Management Team
- Attend as requestedinternal meetings internal and external CPD events
- Other adhoc duties as necessary to ensuresmooth running of the Academy

The Role of theAcademy Secretary
This is anexciting opportunity to join an aspirational team in the journey toset up an outstanding Academy from scratch. With an established U18squad the Academy will be expanding to include U9U16 teams over thenext couple of years. The successful candidate will play anintegral part to ensuring excellent administration and systems areembedded helping to join the dots between teams and establishexcellent operational elements across the Academy. This Secretaryrole is much bigger than the traditional role of Football secretarywith a unique opportunity to get involved in projects and widerAcademy life.
