Description

The focus of the post is to support three global integrated assessments currently being developed by the CCAC: an economic assessment of the 'cost of inaction' on climate change, an agriculture and food systems assessment and a nitrous oxide assessment. The post-holder must be able to demonstrate a good track record of project coordination experience, possess excellent IT and strong interpersonal skills, enjoy working as a member of an international team, be prepared to learn new skills and have a flexible approach to managing a diverse workload. You will need to communicate effectively with a wide range of people both internal and external to the organisation and from across the world. There will be opportunities for international travel to workshops as required. This is a full time role with a minimum of 0.8 FTE being considered. This role is fixed term for a period of 12 months.

Skills, Experience & Qualification needed:

Level 3 qualification. (Qualifications at this level include A levels. Please view the full list). We also welcome applicants with equivalent non-UK qualifications or equivalent professional experience.

Experience of managing large-scale projects

A pro-active approach and the ability to apply problem-solving skills.

Ability to take responsibility for delivering work initiatives, interpreting, and reporting information, communicating in verbal and written formats, and using digital technology.

Ability to work collaboratively with others, deliver quality service, develop self and others, and actively champion respect, inclusivity, equality and diversity.
