    Account Director - PR Agency

    Location: Central Manchester- Hybrid

    Salary: £45k-£50k

    Focus 5 Recruitment are looking for an ambitious and driven B2C PR Account Director (50k DOE) to join an industry leading PR agency focusing on campaigns for well-known clients. You'll work with some great and well-known names and businesses. This is a hybrid role; you will have to be able to commute to their Central Manchester based office a couple of times a week.

    As the PR Account Director, you will have at least 3-4 years' experience in PR. You will bring with you a passion for content production, media relationships and working as part of a team. You will have excellent writing skills and the capability to work to client briefs. Your role will be busy & responsible, giving you the opportunity to reap great rewards and progress along the way.

    Your PR Account Director role will involve:

    • Effortlessly integrate into their teams, taking the helm in devising, approving, and orchestrating compelling earned press strategies and campaigns.
    • Forge strong bonds with both client and internal teams, including PR and Social & Influence divisions.
    • Supervise reporting responsibilities for the Account Manager and Account Executive.
    • Handle budget compilation and management efficiently.
    • Generate innovative concepts for news jacking press initiatives and campaigns.
    • Apply strategic acumen and adept problem-solving skills to deliver exceptional outcomes.
    • Nurture trusted relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
    • Bring a wealth of experience in executing integrated campaigns encompassing content and PR.

    You will be the ideal PR Account Director candidate due to your:

    • Extensive experience in PR, managing client accounts and leading teams.
    • Proven track record of delivering successful PR campaigns and achieving measurable results.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Strong leadership abilities, inspiring and guiding teams towards excellence.
    • Strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and a flair for creativity.
    • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
    • Solid understanding of the media landscape and evolving PR trends.
