    Description

    This role involves analyzing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, implementing solutions, and monitoring outcomes to drive efficiency, quality, and innovation.


    Process Analysis:
    Be responsible for the evaluation of current engineering processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement


    Continuous Improvement Strategy:

    Be responsible for the develop and implementation of a comprehensive continuous improvement strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.


    Data Analysis:
    Utilize data-driven insights to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization within engineering operations.

    Root Cause Analysis:
    Conduct root cause analysis to determine the underlying factors contributing to process inefficiencies or quality issues.

    Performance Metrics:
    Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and drive accountability.
    Facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth implementation of new processes, technologies, or methodologies.

    Training and Development:
    Provide training and support to engineering teams to enhance their understanding of continuous improvement principles and methodologies.

    Collaboration:
    Collaborate with other departments, including manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to identify cross-functional improvement opportunities.
    Ensure the business has the correct tools, software, that are fit for purpose.
    A degree background in Business, Science or an Engineering related discipline.

    Understanding of electrical engineering
    Ability to work under own initiative creating project plans, milestones and deliver on time in full.
    Ability to present data effectively
    Understanding of cost and financial impacts
    Good IT skills in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
    Knowledge of quality systems
