    Job Description

    The Midlands MEP team at AECOM consists of talented individuals at different career levels, working across various locations in the Midlands. We operate closely with internal and external consultants in a range of disciplines to design cutting-edge buildings and spaces for clients across sectors. We are looking for a dynamic Electrical Engineer, either chartered or working towards chartership, with the skills to manage projects independently and contribute to larger projects under the guidance of a Senior Engineer. The ideal candidate should have experience in sectors like blue light, custodial, education, transportation, commercial, and industrial.

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
    - Proficient in delivering electrical designs in collaboration with building services and other disciplines.
    - Knowledge of software packages like Amtech, Relux/Dialux, MS Project, AutoCAD, and Revit.
    - Ability to approach projects with innovation and effectively engage with clients, project managers, and contractors.
    - Familiar with relevant regulations, standards, and industry practices to produce designs at all stages of RIBA plan of work.
    - Capable of site supervision, preparation of feasibility reports, and undertaking inspection roles.
    - Full driving license and willingness to travel for projects regionally and internationally.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    - Master's degree in electrical engineering with a building services focus.
    - Post-graduation experience in building services design.
