    Job Description

    Companies House seeks a highly experienced and energetic Principal Change Manager to collaborate with the Head of Portfolio Delivery and Change in implementing the change management strategy, enabling successful embedding of change methodology and resilience into strategic transformation programs.�

    This role is pivotal in supporting program delivery, driving organizational change management initiatives using Prosci ADKAR methodology, working with a diverse range of stakeholders to enhance internal change capability.�

    The Principal Change Managers will report to the Head of Portfolio Delivery and Change.� Within the Portfolio Delivery and Change Function, alongside Project Delivery and Change Professionals, the Principal Change Manager will lead a team of Change Managers to collectively progress and implement change management methods planning, analyzing impact, and assessing change readiness within assigned Projects, Programs, or Service areas.���

    Your role will involve underpinning employee adoption of change, managing resistance across the organization, and ensuring agreed benefits are realized.� This may include leading Change Workstreams across work programs, spearheading collaboration of multi-disciplinary teams to ensure effective change implementation.��

    You will:�

    • Support the Head of Portfolio Delivery and Change and the other Principal Change Managers in developing and delivering the Companies House Change Management Strategy.
    • Provide robust leadership focused on collaboration, innovation, delivering outcomes, and valuing people.
    • Develop change practitioners, project and change skills through coaching and mentoring.�
    • Implement the change management strategy based on a broad and deep range of change management knowledge and experience.
    • Work closely with Heads of Portfolio Delivery and Change, PMO, Senior Responsible Officers, Project/Program Managers to develop and align change and program management plans.
    • Ensure that change and new ways of working are embedded in the organization by proactively empowering the change network to secure feedback, support events, and celebrate success.
    • Assist in conducting compliance audits and developing methods for assessing residual resistance�
    • Build effective relationships by engaging with internal stakeholders, agreeing on solutions, and delivering in an effective and timely manner.
    • Engage and inspire staff to deliver key high-quality change management solutions quickly, using various communication methods.
    • Challenge existing change practices and identify new and innovative ways of working.�
    • Help in developing a change-ready culture to ensure that staff are agile, flexible, and can proactively manage transformation initiatives.�

    Person Specification

    We are seeking an experienced change professional with a fervor for change and a grasp of supporting individuals through intricate change journeys. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and proven experience in utilizing change management principles, methodologies, and tools within complex change portfolios.�

    The ideal candidate will be:

    • Skilled in tailoring Prosci ADKAR at Enterprise, Program, and Project levels�
    • Experienced in leading multidisciplinary teams and business change activities.
    • Well-versed in change programs encompassing culture, people, process, and technology��
    • Practiced in Engagement and Communications Strategy�
    • Proficient in evaluating and validating business benefits realization�
    • Experienced in formulating and executing change plans and strategies focused on successfully driving business change.�
    • Competent in presenting at a senior level�
    • Experienced in coaching sponsors and organizations for change implementation�
    • Skilled in supporting the transition from strategy to embedded organizational culture�
    • Adept at conducting workshops to collaboratively understand issues, assess solutions, and reach a group decision-making consensus.�
    • Experienced in translating change strategy into action�
    • Experienced in working with waterfall, agile, and customized project methods crucial for this role.�

    Benefits

    Alongside a salary of �50,932, Companies House contributes �14,755 towards your membership in the Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension scheme.

    Note: The minimum salary does not reflect the 2023/24 pay deal, and an increase is anticipated in the near future.
