- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping duties for clients, including processing invoices, bank reconciliations, and managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.
- Assist with the preparation of management accounts and financial statements.
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to resolve queries and provide support as needed.
- Use accounting software effectively to maintain accurate records and streamline processes.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in an accountancy practice.
- Ideally, AAT Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
