    The Role / Position Overview

    FT Specialist is a division of the FT Group, providing niche audience groups with must-have information and services that helps them make better decisions and operate more effectively. We're excited by the growth potential for the FT Group through a newly invigorated and energised fDi Intelligence portfolio bringing together the unique offerings from fDi, GIS Planning and recently acquired Wavteq Products.

    As a member of our Strategies division, you will play a crucial role within our global team, responsible for executing FDI consulting projects. You will collaborate closely with a highly skilled team of associates and consultants within the fDi Intelligence portfolio to ensure the successful delivery of top-notch FDI consulting projects.


    Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage a variety of small to medium-sized consulting projects and internal workstreams within larger consulting projects Including: fDi and trade strategy, analysis of trade and investment trends including sector and market prioritization exercises, industry sector research and studies, value proposition development, organisational diagnostics and preparation and training.This includes structuring, problem-solving and delivering projects along with our consulting team
  • Collaborate closely with the project manager and other consultants to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Utilise project management software to manage project workstreams, including tracking of tasks
  • Participate in our weekly consulting operations calls to discuss progress, problems and priorities for the team and projects portfolio.
  • Contribute to the development of content and training materials for our fDi intelligence content, including the fDi Institute e-learning platform.
  • Work closely with our fDi data team to deliver quantitative-focused outputs for consulting assignments to facilitate knowledge transfer and learning between the Strategies and Data teams.

  • Excellent communication skills - written and spoken
  • Ability to breakdown complex problems into clear structures and frameworks
  • Ability to collaborate with different teams
  • Ability to manage priorities simultaneously and meet time-sensitive deadlines

  • Ideal Skills / Experience

  • Experience working in a hybrid environment
  • Working proficient fluency in Spanish
  • Experience in Google Suite, Excel and Powerpoint
