    Kiwi are an established progressive building company specialising in luxury home renovations. Kiwi Group have also recently moved in to the bespoke new homes sector. We have an exciting opportunity for a new colleague to join our close knit and ambitious team as a Senior Construction Manager. The ideal candidate will be proactive, self-motivated, task focused, flexible, organized, problem-solver, collaborative and insightful; and have the drive and enthusiasm to be an integral part of this young and aspirational team striving to redefine home building.

    Responsibilities:

    Project Planning: Develop project plans, including timelines, resources allocation, and budgeting, in coordination with the project stakeholders.

    Coordination: Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution, adhering to timelines and quality standards.

    Resource Management: Manage human and material resources effectively, ensuring they are utilized efficiently to meet project deadlines and budget constraints.

    Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure construction activities meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

    Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site, conducting regular safety inspections and implementing necessary measures to mitigate risks.

    Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.

    Problem-solving: Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process, utilizing problem-solving skills and sound judgment.

    Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and progress reports.

    Cost Management: Monitor project expenditures and make adjustments as needed to stay within budgetary constraints.

    Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment to achieve project objectives.

    Personal Attributes

    · Holds a Construction Management Qualification e.g. CITB Site Management and Safety Training or equivalent.

    · Substantial experience of managing small to medium-sized residential and new home construction projects.

    · Able to work as a standalone subject-knowledge expert, but has also strong team-working ability.

    · Ability to travel and work in different locations across the Midlands.

    · Demonstrated ability to develop and build relationships.

    · Analytical thinker with attention to detail.

    · Must be able to work under pressure to tight timescales, juggle multiple projects and have exceptional
