    Job Title: Air Conditioning Technical Services Manager

    Salary: Competitive salary & benefits package

    Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

    We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our team in a permanent role that offers diverse challenges, a dynamic workload, and excellent career advancement opportunities within the organization.

    We are currently seeking an Air Conditioning Technical Services Manager to help lead and enhance our air-conditioning division. This role is available at either our Glasgow or Edinburgh offices, providing flexibility to candidates from different regions, with an attractive salary & benefits package on offer.

    The Position:

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

    • Regular communication with clients to keep them informed
    • Supervising projects until completion
    • Preparing pricing and estimates for necessary works based on visits and client requests
    • Offering technical guidance to engineers and clients
    • Coordinating installations and commissioning
    • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors

    Personal Attributes:

    • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and implement effective solutions
    • Ability to drive continuous improvement in business operations
    • Proficiency in Facilities Management with a wide-ranging knowledge of building services and controls across various sectors
    • Effective leadership qualities with clear communication abilities to guide team members
    • Experience in Energy Management and accreditation as a TM44 air conditioning energy assessor
    • Proven Project Management expertise from survey to completion, including client and engineer interactions
    • Commercial acumen focusing on client needs and operational understanding for business growth opportunities
    • Familiarity with Scottish Health Technical Memorandum (SHTM) is advantageous

    Qualifications:

    • City and Guilds 2079 Category One F-Gas and ODS Regulations
    • IOSH Managing Safety City & Guilds 7671:2018
    • 18th Edition electrical installations requirements
    • Elected member of the Institute of Refrigeration
    • SVQ Level 2 small commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems
    • SVQ Level 2 mechanical engineering manufacturer
    • UKATA Asbestos awareness training
