    Are you a seasoned personal tax expert with a passion for leading and mentoring others? Our client, an esteemed accounting practice in Epsom, is seeking a highly skilled Personal Tax Manager to spearhead their tax department and guide a team of talented professionals.

    As the Personal Tax Manager, you will be the go-to guru for all things related to personal taxation. Overseeing and managing the personal tax compliance and advisory services for a diverse portfolio of clients.
    Providing expert guidance on complex personal tax matters, including income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax.
    Ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations and advising clients on tax planning strategies to optimize their tax position.
    Conducting detailed reviews of tax computations and personal tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
    Mentoring and supporting junior tax professionals, fostering their professional growth and development.
    Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, offering exceptional client service and personalized tax advice.
    Keeping abreast of changes in tax legislation and industry trends, implementing best practices in the tax department.
    To excel in this role, the ideal Personal Tax Manager should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

    CTA qualified, showcasing a deep understanding of personal tax and relevant tax legislation.
    Proven experience in managing personal tax compliance and advisory services, ideally within an accounting practice.
    Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team of tax professionals.
    Attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring high-quality tax computations and documentation.
    A proactive and solution-oriented approach to resolving tax-related challenges.
    Proficiency in tax software and MS Office suite.
