We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Innovation Manager to join the Research and Innovation Directorate at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust.
This is a new role bringing together the Innovation portfolio, creating a fantastic opportunity to join a large multidisciplinary directorate.
We are seeking an experienced professional with a background in Innovation to develop and manage our current portfolio.The role is 12 months fixed term/secondment with the expectation that during the term, a business case for the sustainability of the role will be established by the successful candidate.
The Trust is looking for a dynamic and pro-active leader, with experience of managing multiple projects with all NHS professions and stakeholders.
This new role will be part of the Research and Innovation Directorate and will play a key role in the development of the future Innovation strategic objectives, through collaboration, education, and awareness, to open Innovation opportunities and solutions to our UHNM colleagues.
The Innovation Manager will link in with regional and national partners taking forward NHS Innovations, giving UHNM a voice in this arena.
The post holder will support UHNM colleagues to successfully manage and grow their Innovation ideas, connecting through strategic partnerships to ensure efficient and evidenced innovative solutions are adopted into practice.
The post holder will assist in the implementation of UHNM Research and Innovation strategy.Liaising with all internal and external stakeholders and be an integral part of the local and regional research and innovation community.
