    Job Description

    Vertical Advantage is thrilled to collaborate with a Global FMCG Chemicals and Ingredients company based in London to find a Global Logistics Manager for their team.

    This opportunity arose due to an internal transition within the company and its expansion. As the Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the complete management of the brand's 3PL partners, Customer Service, Inventory Management, and 3PL logistics control.

    They are a significant player in the UK and EU commodities market, catering to customers worldwide, including the US & Asia. With a workforce of over 60,000 employees globally, you will be part of a firm that is stable yet expanding.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Complete ownership of the logistics team
    • Supervision of all 3rd Party manufacturing and logistics partners
    • Leading import and export procedures ensuring compliance
    • Managing relationships with suppliers
    • Overseeing a team of 3 individuals with a future plan for expansion
    • Contributing significantly to building and enhancing a sustainable supply chain

    Essential qualifications:

    • Extensive end-to-end supply chain expertise within an international corporation
    • In-depth knowledge of EU/UK supply chain operations (import and export)
    • Prior team management experience (2+ members)
    • Familiarity with ERP systems (JDE, SAP, Navision)
    • Understanding of post-Brexit UK trade and customs compliance is advantageous

    Salary & Package:

    Around £60,000 per annum plus bonus and benefits

    Hybrid working model with 3 days at the office and 2 days remote.
