    Media Production Coordinator - United Kingdom - Calex UK (Learning & Development)

    Calex is a specialist training and consultancy organisation working in partnership with several market-leading automotive manufacturers. We are currently seeking to recruit a Media Production Coordinator reporting directly to the Learning Innovations Manager.

    They will play a key role in coordinating workflow within the team, whilst being able to direct, shoot and edit footage in accordance with brand guidelines and supporting escalation queries.

    Confident in their expertise, with the ability to share expertise across the team and to build a better solution, adopting an innovative and future focussed mindset that leads to the provision of world class learning solutionsCurious, asks questions, provides solutions to business challenges and is able to prioritise their workloadExperienced in positively challenging the status quo in the pursuit of driving our learning offer forwardsAble to engage, inspire and motivate our learners and team membersKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain a comprehensive schedule for all multimedia content, including videos, podcasts, livestreams and webinarsAssess and distribute workload to achieve required KPIswith internal and external teams to establish realistic timelines and adjust schedules as necessaryact as the first point of contact for all scheduling and studio queriesStay informed around best practises in multimedia scheduling, identifying opportunities to improve efficienciesguidance and support to the team throughout the production processand maintain video production equipment, including cameras, lighting, audio recording devices, and accessoriesand develop multimedia (audio/video) contentmultiple fast-paced projects at the same timethat all image and video assets created meet editorial standards and branding guidelinesclosely with the Calex Management and Leadership team, and other key personnel, to support the partnership with VWG, and ensure KPIs and SLAs are achievedAbout YouExperience of coordinating workload for a teamFlexible and adaptable; able to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to manage own workload and prioritise conflicting activitiesInnovative and forward thinkingwith a skillset for organising multimedia projects to successful completion.a understanding of Project Management principals and subsequent scheduling toolsunderstanding of multimedia production processes, including video a deep understanding of and appreciation for the creative process - story telling, conceptualising, filming, sound, lighting, ability to direct, shoot and edit footage in accordance with brand , tech-savvy with extensive experience of using Adobe Creative Cloud products, e.g.

    Some roles may also be subject to further pre-employment checks (confirmation will be provided through the recruitment process). The nature of this role may necessitate that we undertake a DBS check.
    EmploymentThe successful candidate will be employed by Calex UK ( Calex are a specialist automotive training provider and provide training staff and expertise including Trainers, Developers, Digital Learning Experts, and Administrators to Volkswagen Group UK. The successful candidate will join an established team, at the VWG National Learning Centre in Milton Keynes.
    Place of WorkVWG National Learning Centre, Wymbush, Milton Keynes.

    We currently operate hybrid working with at least 60% of time in the National Learning Centre with the opportunity to work up to 40% remotely.

    Time spent in the office may change.

    There will also be times when it may be necessary to work out of hours and/or from alternative locations, e.g.

    VWG facilities and retailers, and other sites as necessary to perform the role.
