    Job Title: Group Financial Reporting Manager

    Our client is a FTSE 250 business with head office in London and operating sites in the United Kingdom, Europe, and north America. Due to natural progression, the Group Financial Controller is now seeking a driven and ambitious qualified accountant to support him in the group reporting and consolidation function.

    Description

    This is a high-profile role, with regular interaction with senior stakeholders across the Group. As Group Financial Reporting Manager, you will report directly to the Group Financial Controller and support him in the delivery of robust analysis to challenege the group's overall financial performance. Working as part of an established Head Office team, the successful candidate will have significant exposure across all key financial processes and issues. Key day-to-day responsibilities will include the preparation of the group consolidation for the monthly management accounts, the production of monthly performance reports for the CFO, the management of the external audit process, and assisting with ad-hoc projects as necessary. As you progress in the role, there will also be ample opportunity to assume increased responsibilities.

    Skills

    The successful candidate will demonstrate a track record of self-started work and a proactive approach to driving improvements and delivering top class insights in their current organisation. You will need to be a fully-qualified accountant with some post-qualified experience, high attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Excel. Experience of IFRS 16 and IFRS 2 are highly desirable, as is experience in a listed group environment.
