In the integral role of Principal Consultant / Director, you will act as a critical Senior Stakeholder; contributing to the success of the business, executing the firm's strategic vision, and driving revenue.
Responsibilities:
Client Engagement / Thought Leadership:
Own, develop and cultivate relationships with C-level Stakeholders, and Senior Client Executives; providing tailored-strategic advice - focused on client satisfaction to foster trust.
Leads discussions, acting as subject matter expert and scientific thought partner to clients and internal / external stakeholders, by creating eminence and spearheading industry-specific initiatives and trends (i.e., Payers, KOL's, C-Suite industry SMEs).
Business Development:
Contribute to, and actively drive Business Development; identify, pursue and lead the development of new business opportunities; including the acquisition of new clients and the expansion of services with existing clients, within Biopharma, MedTech, Medical Device and/or Diagnostics.
Demonstrate an independent success in selling—and leading the delivery of—strategy consulting engagements; with experience of managing a $1-1.5M book of business, with extensive network.
Support internal operations that drive growth, and develop the sales efficiency process.Project Ownership:
Responsible Project Lead of client engagements, with oversight of delivery excellence and project initiatives, setting project direction with resource allocation; managing profitability.
Acts as a 'strategic advisor', to effectively identify, mitigate and resolve complex risk issues within client engagements and internal business functions; with the enhancement of internal 'best practices' / methods.
Qualifications:
Academic Requirements:
BSc, Masters or MD / PhD in Life Sciences related subject, or an MBA.
Strategy Experience:
10+ years' experience in Strategy, or Management Consulting, preferably in a tier-1/tier-2 firm, with a dedicated focus on Healthcare and Life Sciences; (i.e., Pharma, Biopharma, Medical Device and/or Diagnostics, Private Equity and Venture Capital).
Early-stage Portfolio, Asset and Indication Prioritisation, TPP Evaluation, Value Proposition Development, Pricing, Reimbursement or Global Market Access strategy; Commercial, Product or M&A and BD&L: Strategy, Due Diligences, Deal Execution with Integration and Carve-out activities.
Inter-Personal Characteristics:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level and Senior Stakeholders / Executives.
Demonstrated success in People management; coach, develop and mentor; responsible for career and professional development; ensuring continued acquisition of talent -cultivating a positive culture and job satisfaction.
Demonstrated analytical and critical-level thinking; (i.e., Intuition, Emotional Intelligence (EQ), and Ideation prowess).Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Fluent proficiency of; English, German, or French is required.
