    Description
    Acquisitions Manager - London

    We're looking for a Maintenance Manager to provide top-notch maintenance management to support our current stores and ongoing growth. In this role, you will oversee central maintenance contracts and suppliers to ensure our stores are always running smoothly, safe, and looking great. You'll be in charge of all maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and facility upgrades. High priority will be given to cost savings and developing a long-term maintenance strategy. You'll be part of the Commercial Team, working closely with the Property and Operations teams, splitting your time between our Ealing office, stores, and remote work. Occasional nationwide travel may be required.

    Responsibilities:


    Contractor and Vendor Management

    • Oversee the contractor supply base, onboard new contractors, and manage existing relationships against KPIs
    • Manage equipment vendors to resolve issues and develop solutions

    Equipment Maintenance

    • Supervise maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other critical restaurant equipment
    • Schedule inspections and servicing, maintain accurate maintenance records
    • Implement initiatives to prevent maintenance issues

    Budget Management

    • Develop and maintain the maintenance budget, allocate resources effectively
    • Obtain competitive bids, negotiate contracts
    • Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities

    Stakeholder Management

    • Manage relations with internal and external stakeholders for optimal outcomes
    • Negotiate to secure the best terms and service levels for maintenance support

    Strategy

    • Create and implement a long-term maintenance and repairs strategy
    • Optimize equipment use and maintenance through sharing best practices

    Experience

    • Proven experience in strategic and operational maintenance roles, especially in the hospitality sector
    • Experience with 'Pronett' system is a plus
    • Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance and safety regulations
    • Organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
    • Proficient in budget management and vendor negotiation
    • Ability to respond to emergency maintenance situations
    • Strong Excel skills
