    Configuration Analyst

    Our client, a key player in the financial services industry, seeks to hire a Configuration Analyst to ensure the accuracy and integrity of their Configuration Management Database (CMDB). This role is pivotal as it involves liaising with various teams to optimize the CMDB, enhance IT service management capabilities, and drive process improvements. To excel in this position, you must possess strong communication skills, teamwork abilities, and a knack for innovation. Key responsibilities include maintaining the CMDB schema, overseeing change management, enhancing data quality, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing analytical insights based on CMDB data.

    Responsibilities:

    • CMDB Configuration: Maintain and configure the CMDB schema, use Discovery for asset discovery, and manage user access.
    • Change Management: Oversee CMDB changes, documentation, and approvals.
    • Data Integrity: Monitor and improve data quality within the CMDB and source systems.
    • Data Enrichment: Collaborate to enrich CMDB data with technical and ownership information.
    • Audit and Compliance: Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices through regular audits.
    • Reporting and Analytics: Provide insights and reports for decision-making based on CMDB data.

    Skills and Experience

    • Experience managing a CMDB and asset lifecycle.
    • ITIL 3 or 4 Foundation certification.
    • Knowledge of inventory systems (e.g., Lansweeper, Crowd Strike).
    • Background in IT asset and configuration management.
    • Experience with IT service management tools and platforms.
    • Knowledge of Configuration Management and ITIL processes.
    • Experience in regulated environments and compliance requirements.
