The Bid Writer will work within a multi-disciplinary team from across all parts of our business to deliver tender responses and ensure that Ringway and Eurovia UK's businesses remain at the forefront of highways services in the UK.The successful candidate is to have experience of writing technical and non-technical quality submissions, preferably in the highways sector for local or central government contracts.
Working to tight bid timelines and within a highly performing teamProduction of high-quality bid submissions on timeCopy writing experience is beneficialSkills required;Proven writing ability with outstanding written English grammar, spelling and vocabularyExcellent communicator, able to liaise with other teams and individuals from operative to MD level to gain information for responses, such as evidence of our proven approachProcess led, with an ability to start an answer plan from a blank pageSelf-motivated to meet deadlines, with focus on detail to deliver the required qualityStrong MS Word skills, including formatting and knowledge and experience of other systems such as SharePoint, Excel, PowerPointCollaborative and able to establish good relationships with individuals, and teams, across the organisationKnowledge;Knowledge of contractual, commercial, technical and operational issues relating to public sector contractsKnowledge of procurement legislation, procedures and standardsKnowledge of the bidding/tendering processFormal qualifications required;The core criteria required for this role is toideally hold an English Degreeor hold an English A-Level with a high pass; B, A or A+Experience of being able to interpret technical and contractual information into easy-to-read and impactful proposals.
