We are looking to appoint a dynamic and motivated Clinical Fellow to join the subspecialty of Mucosal immunology and inflammatory bowel diseases within the Paediatric Gastroenterology service at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
This post provides a unique and exciting opportunity for applicants who wish to extend their clinical experience in Paediatric Mucosal immunology and inflammatory bowel diseases, within the unique and supportive environment of Great Ormond Street Hospital.
The appointment will be for 12 months fixed term.In this post, you will be working as part of a larger MDT and will be responsible for providing senior middle grade care for both inpatients and outpatients, ensuring continuity of care for patients and families as they progress through treatment.
This is an established post in Paediatric Inflammatory bowel disease and mucosal immunology Gastroenterology unit at ST6+ level or equivalent trained Paediatrician.
This post would be suitable as a post-certification ("Post-CCT") role, to develop subspeciality skills in Paediatric Gastroenterology.The post provides a unique and exciting opportunity for training in Gastroenterology, in one of the largest units in the UK, with a specific focus in for training in Paediatric Inflammatory bowel disease and mucosal immunology Disorders.

Education, training and qualifications
Primary medical qualification - MBBS or equivalent
Paediatric experience (including gastroenterology) for more than 5 years, at post-graduate level (doctor), including training in paediatric resuscitation (APLS or equivalent)
Paediatric experience in paediatric gastroenterology for more than 1 year, at post-graduate level (doctor)
5 or Occupational English Test (medicine version) with a minimum score of 'B' in each domain.
Experience of diagnostic endoscopy
The recruitment process for all admin and clerical roles at Bands 2-4 will be a two stage recruitment process whereby shortlisted candidates will undertake an online literacy, numeracy, ICT and typing test.
