    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior International Recruitment Officer to join our team in providing in country support for BSU international recruitment offices/agents and associates to drive enquiries, applications and enrolments to the University.

    As Senior International Recruitment Officer, your role will becrucial role in supporting the consolidation of our international recruitment efforts while exploring growth opportunities in new markets.

    The role will involve extensive national and international travel, attendance at education exhibitions and fairs, and you will deliver presentations on our university and its courses.

    You'll be responsible for liaising with various stakeholders, including university staff, partners, agents, and government departments, to help develop business opportunities and promotional strategies.

    Building relationships with overseas institutions and key stakeholders will be essential.

    You will be able to demonstrate a knack for establishing and expanding international recruitment markets and will have knowledge of the factors crucial to international student recruitment and familiarity with Information, Advice, Guidance, and professional practice.

    You will have excellent interpersonal skills, which will enable you to engage effectively with diverse individuals, including senior staff in partner organisations, and have a deep understanding of various cultures.

    You will also excel in presenting information clearly and persuasively and have strong organisational and communication skills, along with the ability to analyse statistical data and reports.

    Opportunities for taking annual leave during the months of July, August and September may be restricted.


    • Exceptionally, given the nature of the responsibilities of the post and the requirement for extensive travel and the ability to work flexibly, this post will not be eligible to additional overtime payments for any hours worked outside the contracted period of 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday.
    • All members of the Academic Planning team are expected to support cross-University events such as student recruitment activities, Graduations, Clearing, Registration and similar, as appropriate. This may require occasional weekend and evening working.
