- work with Aspen Service Owners to develop and maintain a corporate wide BCP program that addresses business recovery and emergency response management, in line with regulatory requirements e.g., SS1 / 21.
- validate operational policies and frameworks ensuring effective links to Incident Management Processes.
- review and enhance the internal controls framework and build a corporate testing program.
- build and execute a training program for Gold and Silver Teams.
- ensure effective Third-Party contractual provisions and oversight in line with regulatory requirements for resiliency.
- role will work collaboratively across Aspen functions and support the build and scheduling of testing for 2024.
- Duration of contract - 6 months.
- and oversee the execution of a comprehensive plan to deliver/enhance the organizations BCP/Resilience readiness at an entity, geography, and office level.
- a framework to manage all business continuity lifecycle activities including risk assessment, business impact analysis, testing, plan maintenance and updates.
- clear roles and responsibilities for the development, operation, and oversight of the resiliency of Group provided services, accountable to legal entities.
- organizational structure for ongoing maintenance and oversight of BCP within the organization with a clear plan for moving this to BAU in a sustainable manner.
- guidelines for the development of Third Party/Material Outsource BCPs that serve/support the recovery of business operations.
- Aspen's Group BCP Policy, working with entities to deliver locally aligned policies.
- a refresh of Business Continuity Plans, working with Stakeholders to facilitate quality inputs/outputs and standardization where appropriate.
- processes for Aspen Service Company to deliver reporting requirements for the UK entity Operational Resiliency legislation.
- business process recovery testing methodologies, plans, and coordinates the testing of recovery including tabletop exercises and full interruption tests.
- targeted Playbooks to support key event responses.
- the build of the Vendor Risk Assessment process to properly assess a vendor's recovery strategy.
- closely with Key Stakeholders, Internal Audit and Risk functions, creating and delivering concise updates on progress against plan.
- and nurtures relationships creating high levels of trust and demonstrating a respect for business priorities and commitments through a flexible and supportive approach.
- as a point of reference to guide and advise others to ensure the sharing of knowledge and best practice.
- your expertise and pragmatism, in facilitating working sessions with functional and business teams to deliver business continuity plans.
