    Description

    Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager tojoin our successful team based in the Thames Valleyregion.

    Costain are working with Thames Water on a variety ofwater and wastewater projects and have fantastic opportunities for individualsto join our growing delivery team, working predominantly across the ThamesValley and Thames South regions. There is a mix of projects ranging fromsmaller capital maintenance to large civil new build schemes. This is a full staff position and will require at least 3 days onsite Key Responsibilities
    Leadership, line management and development of site teams
    Provide whole life oversight and accountability for the successful completionof projects and services, through design, procurement, assembly, commissioning,and handover
    Ensure supply chain remain compliant with the framework management plan
    Provide leadership to create a safety culture to ensure Zero LTI and RIDDORIncidents
    Ensure a commercial focus with a high level of challenge on project scope andchoosing efficient delivery strategies
    Ensure all stakeholders are engaged at strategic & operational levels andsupportive of the projects and services and their potential impacts
    Ensure consistent and reliable reporting of project/services performance into ThamesWater and Costain systems
    Ensure key project and programme risks are identified early, and mitigatedwhere possible About You
    Previous experience of managingmultidisciplinary projects including Civils and MEICA (preferably in thewater sector)
    Strong track record of delivery of project programmes
    Knowledge and understanding of construction contract law and forms of contractthrough experience and formal training
    Computer competence (MS Word, Excel, Document control system, Primaverasoftware)
    Good communication and interpersonal skills
    SMSTS qualification
    Relevant CSCS card
