    Description

    We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Surveyor to join our flagship development in Barking. We're delivering over 1200 units across 12 blocks ranging from 7-28 storeys, with our phases 1 & 2 underway, you will have the opportunity to lead our future phases and work closely with the wider team.

    You'll be joining our London & East Anglia Division, which covers a wide geographical patch in addition to the above project the following schemes are live:

    • Brentwood – 60 new build apartments
    • Bury St Edmunds – 172 new build apartments
    • Stanway – 1000 Units – mixture of houses and apartments

    You will be responsiblefor...

    The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

    • Advise on specification and technical relating to commercial matters
    • Attend Pre-development, Pre-start, Post contract, Design and Project Team meetings as required.
    • Prepare and chair meetings including but not limited to Subcontract and Project Coordination meetings
    • Ensure procurement of subcontractors and materials to programme and budget
    • Ensure subcontractors are approved in accordance with procedures
    • Monitor production of information and advises on financial feasibility of design
    • Monthly production of CostCo
    • Familiar with contract documentation to ensure a working knowledge
    • Management and development of trainee and assistant members of the commercial team

    What we'd like in return...

    As a successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
    • Bsc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (Desirable)
    • RC Frame knowledge adventurous but not essential
    • High level of analytical skills
    • Full UK Driving Licence (willingness to travel to variable site locations)
    • CSCS Card
