    Our client operates as a prominent FTSE 250 business, boasting its headquarters in London and multiple operating sites across the United Kingdom, Europe, and North America.

    Due to natural career progression, the Group Financial Controller is currently in search of a motivated and ambitious qualified accountant to provide assistance in the group's reporting and consolidation tasks.

    Description

    This role holds significant visibility, involving regular engagement with senior stakeholders throughout the Group.

    As the Group Financial Reporting Manager, you will directly report to the Group Financial Controller, contributing to the delivery of thorough analyses to scrutinize the group's financial performance.

    Being part of a well-established Head Office team, the selected candidate will gain substantial exposure to all main financial processes and challenges.

    Day-to-day responsibilities will revolve around preparing the group's consolidation for the monthly management accounts, creating monthly performance reports for the CFO, overseeing the external audit process, and participating in various ad-hoc projects as needed.

    As you grow in this position, there will be ample room for assuming additional responsibilities.

    Skills


    The ideal candidate will showcase a history of self-initiated work and a proactive stance towards driving enhancements and delivering top-notch insights within their current organization.

    An ideal fit would be a fully qualified accountant with post-qualification experience, possessing keen attention to detail, and advanced MS Excel skills.

    Prior exposure to IFRS 16 and IFRS 2 is highly advantageous, as is familiarity with a listed group setting.
