RequirementsCivica Central Government are looking for a Project Manager to manage client facing projects for a number of high-profile clients across public sector.
Responsibilities -Managing the delivery of client facing projects and programmes in an agile or waterfall environment (depending on the client)
Managing large project budgetsCreating and reporting budget forecastsWorking closely with Product Managers, Developers, Testers, Infrastructure Engineers, Technical Architects, Release ManagersLiaising closely with Business and Senior Stakeholders (Heads of Departments, Directors and CEO's where required).Working closely with Product Managers and Business Analysts during estimation and planning of stories, sprint objectives, demos, and retrospectivesEnsuring sprints are managed effectively by removing impediments and ensuring stories are progressingTracking and reporting progress to the Business and senior stakeholders.
Certified Scrum MasterPRINCE2 Practitioners CertificateSkills and Experience:Proficient in both Agile and Waterfall methodologiesCan demonstrate a track record (3-5 years) of success when delivering projects for public and/or private sector clientsCan demonstrate experience of taking full responsibility for project finances and profitable, on time delivery (budgets of at least £200k)
Significant client facing experienceFacilitation of Release and Project Planning to produce robust and reliable plansFacilitation of Sprint/Iteration Planning sessionsRunning daily stand-upsFacilitation of Retrospectives and review meetingsComfortable with reporting project financials to project board and clientGood understanding of the commercial aspects of project deliveryProviding weekly and ad-hoc reports as requiredIdentifying and managing risks, issues, assumptions, and dependenciesManaging stakeholder expectationsBenefitsBenefits | Life at Civica:
