We are an ambitious team with a pretty big 'to-do list' including improving existing products, building new ones, and delivering to new markets.

    The Role

    We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Office Manager to join our team at LDMS, a leading Fintech company specialising in digital lending software. As an Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our office and supporting the needs of our team members.

    You will support all our staff by maintaining a positive office environment, ensuring all facilities are working efficiently, staff have all they need to do their jobs, and coordinating with suppliers. You will also assist the Managing Director with the ongoing expansion of our offices as the company continues to grow.

    This role is office based, working 5 days per week between 20-30 hours however, we would also consider someone looking for full-time work and would supplement the Office Manager role with additional HR & Recruitment responsibilities where time allows.

    Key Responsibilities

    From time to time the key responsibilities may change or be adapted to the needs of the business, however, the below gives an overview of the key areas of focus

    Day to Day

    • Creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for both staff and visitors
    • Managing the day-to-day operations of the office, including maintenance, supplies, and equipment
    • Coordinating office moves, renovations, and other facilities-related projects
    • Assisting with the onboarding of new team members, including setting up workstations and ensuring necessary equipment and resources are provided
    • Managing local health and safety requirements, for example, fire and first aid cover
    • Monitoring and maintaining office budgets, including expenses for supplies and equipment
    • Managing relationships with vendors and service providers
    • Organising company events, team-building activities, and employee engagement initiatives
    • Supervising and coordinating administrative support staff
    • Scheduling appointments, travel, and diary management as required
    • Assisting with HR tasks, such as maintaining employee records, organising training sessions, and coordinating performance reviews

    Requirements

    • Prior experience as an Office Manager or similar role
    • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
    • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
    • Experience managing budgets and expenses
    • Understanding of HR processes and confidentiality
    • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Good verbal, written, and communication skills
