    Senior Finance Officer

    Grade 5 (£27,803 – 31,364 pro rata)

    Actual Salary £25,141

    37 hours per week – Term time plus two weeks

    St Martin's Multi Academy Trust is a supportive Trust consisting of four primary schools based in Wolverhampton and Walsall; St Martin's CE Primary School, Field View Primary School, Grove Primary School and Walsall Wood Primary School.     St Martin's Multi Academy Trust is seeking a diligent and skilled Senior Finance Officer to support our financial operations across the Trust. This role is pivotal in maintaining robust financial systems and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

    We are looking for someone who:

    • Has a strong background in financial administration, preferably in an educational setting.
    • Is proficient in managing financial systems.
    • Has excellent organisational and communication skills, with an ability to work collaboratively.

      Key responsibilities of the role will include:
      • Overseeing financial administration in line with ESFA and MAT guidelines.
      • Managing day-to-day financial operations, including invoicing, payments, and budget monitoring.
      • Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and assisting in budget preparation.
      • Maintaining financial records and overseeing bank reconciliations and transactions.
      • Supporting the completion of statutory returns and liaising with auditors and accountants.
