- Manage a diverse portfolio of ongoing relationships, some of which are complex, with a list of partners in the UK and Scandinavia through various communication channels and reporting tools.
- Ensure through excellent, regular communication that partners are aligned with our strategy around journal growth and open access.
- Renew journal publishing agreements by developing business offers with colleagues in Finance; delivering comprehensive renewal proposals; and collaborating with colleagues in the negotiation of contracts.
- Collaborate with other internal publishing teams to deliver smooth service and title level business growth.
- Achieve partner compliance with journal process improvements through ongoing communication and persuasion.
- Identify and facilitate new business opportunities for partner titles.
- 5+ Years of relevant industry experience
- In-depth experience in managing partner relationships
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a flexible and innovative approach to problems and a focus on defining and achieving outcomes,
- High level awareness of commercial trends in journal publishing and ability to articulate major industry trends into strategies for clients,
- Demonstrated strong collaboration skills to strategize and secure buy-in from external partners for necessary improvements even when it requires engaging in difficult conversations,
- A self-motivated, diplomatic, and flexible approach with outstanding organizational and time management skills and an excellent command of the English language (both written and verbal), proficiency in Danish is a plus,
- Solves complex problems independently; takes a new perspective using existing solutions

The Publisher (Partner Publishing) manages partner relationships through contractual lifecycles, including the renewal of partner contracts. They engage with external partners to ensure that our open access strategy is understood, and mutual success is achieved, through strategic alignment, as measured by various metrics. They contribute to the delivery of external reporting, end-to-end publishing services, from submission through to publication, and title level business growth through collaboration with internal colleagues across multiple publishing units, including but not limited to author support, journal editor management, and corporate sales.
