As a certified B Corp organisation, sustainability is linked to our day to day working environment, with triple bottom line targets (people, planet, profit) and 2% of our profits being donated to exceptional charity causes each year, chosen by us, the individuals who work at GS2.Owing to ongoing expansion, we are now seeking to recruit a passionate Recruitment Director to drive the growth of our Energy division, connecting skilled professionals with sustainable companies driving solar, wind, hydro, tidal, nuclear and battery storage solutions for a greener future.
What are we looking to achieve through this critical hire?The mission of this role is to establish and build a renewable energy desk where you will capitalise on our existing deep-rooted relationships whilst constantly developing new business opportunities.
Sitting within our leadership team and working closely with the Founder of the business, the successful incumbent will build a team, so will be a confident leader.
Progression in this role would lead to being part of the executive management team.As a Recruitment Director, we are looking for a candidate with the following:
Proven leadership capabilities, having run and developed a team.
Demonstrable experience of developing a new desk from the ground up.
Experience of holding responsibility for a divisional P&L, alongside accountability to set and meet team targets.
A methodical, persistent and relentless approach to developing new business within the renewable energy sector, diligently establishing and nurturing new client and candidate relationships.
A hunger towards being recognised as an industry expert, regularly staying updated on industry trends and market shifts in sustainable energy and possessing a strong, long established network of contacts within the sector.
