    Description


    About the roleAs Product Quality Engineer, you will drive and design qualification strategies for next-generation GaN products for consumer, industrial, and automotive applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams across the entire product development lifecycle (development, manufacturing, quality, test, and applications).

    This position is ideal for a highly motivated electronics expert with product quality engineering experience keen to develop their skills in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

    What you will doManage and coordinate the qualification of GaN productsAssure quality in project management, design, and development activitiesIdentify and address quality gaps and drive quality improvement activitiesDrive product quality decisions for the disposition of critical nonconforming productCollaborate with laboratories to develop and improve test and analysis methods of GaN productsManage and lead problem-solving activities arising from product failures, customer complaints, and quality incidentsAlign customer notification strategies for product and process changes and manage follow-up activitiesSupport customer requests for quality informationWhat you will needDegree or equivalent in Physics, Electronics Engineering, or a relevant discipline, MEng/PhD strongly preferredUnderstanding of electronic product design, ideally semiconductor devices, and passion for building quality into design processesAdvanced skills in MS Office, databases, risk assessment, statistics of failure, and data analysisSelf-motivated team player with strong drive, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a continuous improvement mindsetExcellent written and verbal communication skills, confident in presenting to customers and senior managersAble to plan, prioritise and organise personal productivity to achieve a successful balance in working on multiple activities with tight deadlinesKnowledge of international quality standards and policies, e.g., AEC-Q101, JEDEC, AIAG Core Tools (preferred)Why work for us?Remuneration & Reward competitive base salary, Annual Incentive Plan, excellent contributory pension scheme, recognition rewards scheme, income protection, 12 x salary life assurance, visa sponsorship, and relocation assistance where applicable.
