Balfour Beatty are looking for a Senior Health and Safety Advisor to join our Major Projects Team on the Old Oak Common Project in London.
Set to be the best connected and largest new railway stations ever built in the UK, Old Oak Common will become one of the country's most vital transport super hubs.
It is expected to be one of the busiest railway stations in the country with high speed rail services to the midlands, Scotland and the North and access to central London and Heathrow via the Crossrail Elizabeth Line.
The Senior Health and Safety Advisor will provide risk-based assurance that the project is compliant with all HSES requirements and provide expert HSES technical advice, guidance, and support.
Provide project teams with expert HSW technical advice, guidance and support.
Undertake regular site inspections as per project risk matrix and produce formal reports using the Project Portal to record HSW inspections.
Engage and develop relationships with design & engineering teams to eliminate and reduce HSW risk through design.
Health, Safety and Wellbeing Policy
Ability to undertake project planning, project management and work to budgets.
Broad experience of complex construction and civils projects (or experience from an equivalent sector)
