    Imperial College London, a leading center for research and education in various fields, is seeking candidates for multiple faculty positions at the Lecturer/Senior Lecturer level. This is an opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary environment focused on addressing global challenges through science and innovation.

    We are particularly encouraging applications from women and other underrepresented groups to enhance our research capabilities in the areas of Metabolic Engineering, Bioenergetics, and Plant Biochemistry.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with colleagues within the Department of Life Sciences and other departments
    • Contribute to national and international research communities
    • Teach and mentor students at all levels
    • Participate in the planning and objective setting for the department
    • Show initiative in managing performance and academic groups
    • Contribute to academic leadership and initiatives
    • Hold a PhD in Life Sciences or related field
    • Demonstrate a track record of high-quality research and publication
    • Experience in training students and managing colleagues
    • Full-time role based at Imperial College South Kensington Campus

    Presentation Date: September 2024

    The successful candidate will have a proven ability to conduct independent research and contribute effectively to teaching and supervision.

    Senior Lecturer:

    The Senior Lecturer will bring extensive professional experience and a strong reputation in either teaching or research to the role.

    This position requires a high level of independence and a significant body of original research or teaching impact.
