We are currently seeking a proficient Matrimonial Legal Secretary to join our team.Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to provide essential administrative support to our attorneys.
This role presents an opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment and contribute to the success of our matrimonial cases.
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in drafting and preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence. Maintain accurate and organised client files, ensuring confidentiality of all documents. Manage attorney calendars, schedule appointments, court dates, and deadlines. Conduct legal research and gather evidence to support case preparation. Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them accordingly. Perform various administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a legal secretary or assistant, preferably in matrimonial or family law. Proficiency in legal terminology and document preparation. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
