    This post is based at the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery at Queen's Square.

    The role will be providing inpatient & outpatient services to acute Neuromedical / neurosurgical / neuro-oncology wards, neuro-rehab wards and provide cover for medical/surgical HDU's.

    We are a forward-thinking department of over 60 dietitians committed to clinical governance initiatives.

    UCLH specialises in women's health and the treatment of cancer, infection, neurological, gastrointestinal and oral disease. It has world class support services including critical care, imaging, nuclear medicine and pathology.

    Four year degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent
    Post registration training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
    Post graduate study in specialist area of dietetics e.g. PENG course, paediatric/renal modules

    Post registration clinical experience in haemato-oncology
    Knowledge of current issues relating to specialist area of dietetics

    Experience of training student dietitians/other HCPCs

    Experience in the support and development of junior members of staff
    Health, Safety and Security
    Knowledge & understanding of clinical governance and risk management and relevance to dietetics

    Quality and service improvement
    Experience in project management

    Information collection and analysis including IT skills
    Computer literacy

    Awareness of equal opportunities and diversity


    To manage the physical effort of working between hospital sites, frequently moving up and down stairs, standing for long periods of time and carrying heavy folders.
