    Description

    This VIE position is based in London and is meant for young graduates looking for an international experience in a strong growing finance group during a 12 months assignment.

    English natives cannot apply for a VIE position based in England.

    The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.

    Individual to provide centralised coordination of various functions to support the sales and relationship management objectives of the UK Asset Management business.

    Working with our existing and prospective clients, local (UK) and global consultants ensuring that their needs and any requests and any engagement follow ups are met in a timely and accurate manner.

    Success in this role requires the ability to be proactive in supporting our business development activities, looking to assess and support our prospect and any cross sell opportunities.

    This requires the individual to maintain and update client CRM data, analyse opportunities for our clients and prospective clients, and oversee and coordinate the completion of information requests.

    Attention to detail is critical – the ability not only to pull data and materials from the various applications and sources available, but also to analyse the data and understand whether that data is accurate and makes sense.

    Finally, this individual should have a solid knowledge of investments, such that they are able to fully understand, and respond to, client enquiries and requests and work collaboratively with the local sales function and other internal stakeholders.

    Conducting analysis, initiating investigations and responding to internal and external ad-hoc inquiries on a wide variety of topics, including portfolio and product specific information, investment guidelines, market trends and regulation considerations
    Acting as a point of contact for various groups internally and externally, in partnership with the Senior Sales Manager in London
    Coordinating key client communications, in partnership with the Senior Sales Manager in London
    Supporting the Senior Sales Manager in the organisation of client, prospect and consultant roadshows and meetings
    Capturing and maintaining client, prospect and consultant data in relevant internal systems and aiding in the production of internal management reporting
    Developing an understanding of the depth and breadth of ODDO BHF Asset Management's investment approaches, the various stakeholders and how this all fits into the overall Group
    Have a strong academic background, business school (Grande Ecole) or equivalent Master diploma
    Demonstrate excellent verbal and written English language skills
    Be self-motivated, creative and enthusiastic
    CFA or equivalent) would be advantageous
    Any relevant client service experience, preferably gained within the Investment Management industry, would be a plus
