- Contribute towards launch task procedure guides to ensure tasks can be easily delivered in a repeatable format.
- Responsible and accountable for launch tasks associated to SMB and public sector orders from assessment through to delivery.
- Responsible for triage of tickets within incident and change management, working on first time fixes and escalating more difficult tickets where required to the Network Engineer level.
- Responsible for SLA, KPI and CSAT understanding and performance in line with company targets and goals.
- Accountable for understanding company procedures.
- Responsible for effective queue management skills, where possible avoiding SLA and KPI breaches and driving CSAT results
- Responsible for ensuring their own PDRs and 121s are conducted with their line manager on a frequent basis.
- Responsible for their own goals and tasks (task matrix or otherwise) to deliver the desired outcomes, requesting relevant training and development where required.
- Contribute within regular structured team meetings.
- Responsible for escalation and pro-active chasing of vendors and external support groups where required.
- Responsible for participation in the teams on-call rota if required.
- Experience triaging network incidents on a managed services desk at 2nd line or similar.
- Experience in configuring and maintaining Cisco ASA's, Routers, Switches and/or FortiGates.
- Exposure to VMware/ESXi
- CCNA or working towards and/or Fortinet NSE 4 or working towards
