    Job Description

    Job Title: MEP Project Manager

    Location: London

    Salary: £75K - £80K per annum + travel paid

    The Role:

    • Responsible for overseeing and managing projects related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
    • Budgeting, project management, and coordinating submittals
    • Making sure health, safety & welfare is maintained and adhered to at project/site level.
    • Managing projects from contract signature stage, through all phases until handover to the end user.
    • Managing labour, plant & material levels throughout the project.
    • Ensuring that all related design information is correctly and fully audited to secure overall compliance.
    • Overseeing all elements of the overall commissioning process to ensure that the installations are correctly commissioned.
    • Ensuring that complete and comprehensive records are collated and maintained covering all aspects of quality control, system/equipment testing, commissioning and equipment maintenance.
    • Hold and attend site meetings, as and when required (typically weekly) which will need recording, then reported to the Operations Director.
    • Overseeing the preparation of operation & maintenance manuals.
    • Providing technical support and expertise to the internal project team.
    • Responsible for handover to clients and after care.
    • Reporting to the Operations Director.

    The Company:

    • 45+ years experience delivering MEP projects UK wide.
    • Offices based in Bedfordshire & London.
    • Leading MEP contractor within the new build residential space who currently turnover £30M+ per annum.
    • Mainly operate in London & surrounding areas.

    The Ideal Candidate:

    • Will have 5+ years experience working as a MEP Project Manager
    • Will have full MEP experience
    • Will have previous experience working large new build residential projects.
    • Will hold a Black CSCS Managers Card. SSSTS/SMSTS advantageous.
    • Will work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
    • Will be technically minded and able to drive a project.
    • Will be located in the London area.
