    Overview
    Weare looking for an experienced Cloud Solution Architect Consultant to join ourgrowing Data Analytics & AI practice. This is a unique opportunity to joinan exciting, growing team but with the backing of a much larger and moreestablished business. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range ofexciting and innovative projects, all whilst playing an integral role ingrowing our data practice.

    OurData Analytics & AI team really likes helping our clients solve theircomplex problems with data, by implementing controls and governance of data,creating actionable insights, embedding machine learning solutions or buildingdata platforms. We bring the right team and skills on the table and can offerdeep expertise across Data Strategy, Data Science & Engineering, DataVisualisation, Data Management, Data Architecture and Software Development.

    What will you be doing?

    Youwill be using your experience to help our clients solve their most importantdata challenges. You would be also responsible to support the growth of ourteam, helping them to build the skills they need to solve our client'schallenges. Depending on the level, you can be a part of our leadership team,shaping the direction of the practice, growing the business, and leading ourpeople. Typicalengagements include:
    -Design and build cloud-based or hybrid solutions based on client requirements and business needs. Example solutions include:
    -Design and build data / analytics platforms utilising cloud services for storing, processing, and analysing large data volumes to enable digital transformation.
    -Architecting data warehousing solutions for collecting and storing structured and unstructured data for analysis. Integrating BI tools to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
    -Implementing event-driven architectures for automatic scaling and efficient resource utilisation.
    -Building technology blueprints and advising clients on the different technology options
    -Translating business requirements (both functional and non-functional) into solutions, ensuring compliance with the organisations strategy, policies, and standards and in some cases, help customers to define new policies, principles and standards.
    -Helping clients to identify risks and mitigations for their complex data programmes, as well as transition to modern cloud-based infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP) by leveraging related architecture patterns (e.g., APIs, events)
    -Designing and building serverless applications that leverage cloud functions and services to handle specific tasks without managing server infrastructure.
    -Modernisation of legacy applications by refactoring it to leverage cloud-native services such as serverless computing or microservices architecture.
    -Designing architectures that distribute workloads across multiple cloud providers while ensuring interoperability.
    -Designing solutions that leverage container orchestration for microservices-based applications.

    So, what are we looking for? Weare seeking a cloud solution architect with a growth mindset, who is excited byempowering decision making with cloud solutions leveraging data, and keen totake an active part in the growth of the company. We're looking for individualswho can both advise our clients and, when needed, get hands on in technicaldelivery to bring a solution to life. Belowwe list some of the skills we are looking for. Of course, do not expect you tobe an expert in all areas and we understand that experiences vary based on thebackground and years of experience:

    Solution Design & Architecture:
    Design and architect cloud-based solutions that align with clients' needs, ensuring scalability, performance and security in-line with well-architected framework principles.
    Develop architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and documentation (high-level and low-level designs) for proposed solutions.
    Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand requirements and goals.

    Cloud Expertise:
    Be up to date with latest cloud services and best practices from major cloud providers.
    Recommend appropriate cloud services and components for specific use cases, considering factors such as compute, storage, databases, networking, and security.
    Advise clients on Cloud / IT strategy as well as best use of cloud architecture and SaaS solutions Technical Leadership:
    Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams during implementation.
    Review and validate technical designs, code and configurations to ensure they align with proposed architecture. Security and Compliance:
    Design and implement security measures to protect cloud environments, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security.
    Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations. Performance Optimisation:
    Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend optimisations to improve responsiveness and efficiency.
    Monitor and analyse resource utilisation to ensure optimal performance and cost. Cost Management:
    Optimise resources to minimise costs while maintaining performance and scalability.
    Provide cost estimates and recommendations for choosing the right pricing models and services working closely with client IT and business teams. DevOps & Automation:
    Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment, scaling and management of cloud applications.
    Implement Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for efficient software delivery. Client Communication:
    Act as a liaison between technical teams and clients, explaining complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
    Present solution architectures and recommendations to clients, addressing questions and concerns. Training & Mentoring:
    Train and mentor junior architects / developers on cloud technologies and best practices.
    Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance technical expertise in the team. Problem Solving:
    Troubleshoot technical issues / challenges that arise during solution development.
    Propose innovative solutions to overcome obstacles and achieve project goals. -Ability to own and run complex client engagements, interact with leaders across industry, work with senior stakeholders to help them understand and frame their problems, assess their current state, and make impactful recommendations which help shape their thinking.
    -Knowledge of different technology stacks including common legacy and modern stacks
    -Well-versed with documentation and artefacts that need to go along with the solution design and delivery work.
    -Be a 'lifelong learner' and can demonstrate a drive to always be learning and developing your skillsets. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to cloud computing, architecture, and data management.
