    Description

    This dynamic and industry-leading company in providing alternative loans, is currently seeking a highly skilled In-House Counsel to join their legal team.

    Position Overview As the In-House Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in providing legal counsel and support to the organisation. This exclusive opportunity involves collaborating with various departments to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to the legal strategy. Responsibilities
    • Manage and mitigate legal and regulatory risks through policy and procedural proposals.
    • Analyze legal risks related to existing products and products in development.
    • Assist in preparing and filing governmental reports." Review and draft employment contracts.
    • Review and provide consultation on regulatory actions, responses and all communications.
    • Provide guidance to executives on regulatory and compliance matters.
    • Draft and provide consultation on various contracts and legal documents.
    • Engage in all required legal research and supervise outside counsel as needed.
    • Stay current with legislation relevant to our business and regulatory requirement current and forthcoming.
    • Support the Head of HR in matters related to employment law
    About You
    • Qualified solicitor entitled with 1-3 years PQE in a corporate/ commercial role.
    • Demonstrated experience in financial services
    • Knowledge of FCA regulations and legal compliance.
    • Ability to build legal processes to support the broader business.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
