    Head of quality (Hybrid)

    Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain effective communication on quality issues, and write policies and procedures.
    Liaise with customers, relevant agencies, and companies regarding quality and risk management issues.
    Perform audits to ensure compliance.
    Support departments in maintaining accreditation.
    Work closely with designated representatives for quality assurance.
    Process and report internal and external quality assessment specimens accurately.
    Review and develop working practices and SOPs.
    Ensure compliance with HCPC standards and regulatory requirements.
    Advise on health and safety matters.
    Develop and maintain a quality management training program.
    Deliver induction and refresher training in specialist areas. Qualifications: MSc or equivalent education.
    IBMS or HCPC qualification
    Proven experience in working as a head of quality or quality manager within ISO15189 accredited laboratory
    Proven experience in leading quality audits
    Extensive knowledge and expertise in quality management.
    Sound knowledge of IT programs.
    Evidence of continuing professional development.
    Working knowledge of Laboratory Health & Safety arrangements.
    Experience in assessing and initiating change in laboratory practice.
    Experience in planning and project management.
    Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    Strong initiative, clear thinking, and problem-solving skills.
