    PositionOverview:Working within a leadingorganisation at Finning, and the largest CAT dealership globally, the role as Rebuild Repair Engineer involves reconditioning and maintenance on Caterpillar products and supporting 2nd life overhauls to products within the ConstructionEquipment group.

    We are in need of a highly experienced and motivated individual with strong electrical, hydraulic, and enginetroubleshooting skills suitable for a role in a largeworkshop environment supporting the repair and maintenance of CATmachinery.

    MajorJobFunctions:Tasks include detailed machine inspections, standard diagnostic tests, parts list creation, overhaul, repair, and testing of machines.

    DesiredSkills:Requirements include flexibility, attention to detail, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused attitude. Knowledge in service manuals, tooling, rigging, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical fitting is essential.

    Responsibilities:Ensure job times are met, maintain quality standards, keep machines operational and safe, and adhere to safety regulations.

    EducationandExperience:Preferably with a background in plant machinery or similar industries. 5+ years of experience in a quality service environment within a related industry. A driving license for reach trucks and practical experience with construction equipment and mechanical fitting work are required.
