    Regional Process Engineer

    About the Job:

    As the Regional Process Engineer, your main responsibility will be to drive all Manufacturing Process Engineering activities. Your goal is to design, implement, and enhance processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. You will play a vital role in supporting business projects, strategic plans, and growth initiatives.

    Your Main Responsibilities:

    Process Design & Development

    • Evaluate new processes and modifications feasibility.
    • Create, update, and review process documents like PFMEA, routings, BOMs, and control plans.
    • Introduce new manufacturing techniques, work instructions, and provide operator training.
    • Travel to multiple sites across the UK, including the head office in Wolverhampton.

    Process Monitoring & Control

    • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Maintain technical data, reports, change notifications, and test procedures.
    • Implement control systems to optimize manufacturing processes.

    Quality Control

    • Collaborate with different departments to analyze customer returns and implement corrective actions for consistent product quality.
    • Ensure compliance with customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
    • Lead yield improvement projects using a six sigma framework.

    Continuous Improvement Techniques

    • Implement methodologies such as Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing for continuous improvement.
    • Apply Six Sigma principles to enhance overall quality and minimize variations.

    Documentation and Standardization

    • Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for consistency.
    • Maintain detailed documentation of processes, changes, and enhancements.
    • Conduct training sessions for teams to ensure correct execution of manufacturing processes.

    Your Qualifications:

    Essential

    • Experience in process development within a manufacturing or process engineering environment.
    • Knowledge of Product Launch Process.
    • Experience in a manufacturing setting.
    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Self-motivated with a hands-on engineering approach.
    • Preferably located in the West or East Midlands.

    Desirable

    • Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing.
    • Experience with Quality tools and Core Quality Tools - e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC.
    • Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
    • Knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks/Creo) and technical drawing interpretation.
    • IOSH qualification.
