    Store Manager - New Store Opening May 2024

    East Sheen, London

    Exciting Opportunity to join a charity retailer on the rise

    Salary up to £25,000 per year based on experience plus attractive benefits.


    Our client, a well-established charity retailer, is offering a unique opportunity to become a Store Manager overseeing their new store in East Sheen.


    As the Shop Manager, your main goal is to boost revenue and surpass all set targets.


    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate closely with the Area Manager to address stock needs and ensure shop maintenance and safety.
    • Ensure smooth store operations following company standards.
    • Achieve annual financial and contribution goals.
    • Meet store KPIs.
    • Lead and nurture your team.
    • Recruit and onboard new team members.
    • Enhance the store's visual merchandising for optimal results.
    • Attract new customers to the store.
    • Engage with the local community.
    • Recruit volunteers for the store.


    Experience needed:

    • Prior Store Manager experience in charity or retail settings.
    • Ability to interact with customers effectively through excellent communication skills.
    • Awareness of KPIs and goal-oriented mindset.
    • Experience in target-driven customer-focused environments.
    • Enthusiastic, driven, and positive demeanor.
    • Flexible to work during store hours and weekends.
    • Proven history of successful management in a growing, profitable setting.
    • Experience in leading a team of volunteers, with skills in recruitment, development, customer service, and supporter relationships.
    • Familiarity with charity retail and a passion for the charitable sector are advantageous.
