    Head of Infrastructure Director Position at MUFG


    The Director - Head of Infrastructure role at MUFG offers a unique opportunity to work with one of the world's largest financial groups. In this role, you will lead and manage the Technology Infrastructure department, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

    Main Purpose and Accountability of the Role

    • Lead the Technology Infrastructure department to execute strategies and business plans
    • Manage and monitor IT infrastructure inventory and risks
    • Enhance relationships with stakeholders globally
    • Prepare and manage the department's budget
    • Maintain service standards, SLAs, and KPIs
    • Coordinate with other teams to provide infrastructure roadmap and direction
    • Build strong relationships across business functions and areas
    • Delegate management of manuals and policy documents

    Risk Management

    • Monitor IT infrastructure risks and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
    • Support the IT Risk, Security, and Control department
    • Manage compliance to IT infrastructure standards and procedures

    Regulatory Compliance, Affairs, and Change

    • Evaluate and establish operational systems and controls

    Controls and Compliance

    • Ensure compliance with internal risk and compliance requirements

    Technical Capability

    • Responsible for various IT infrastructure elements and related hardware and software
    • Develop and maintain a reliable and performant infrastructure
    • Ensure alignment of infrastructure architecture with business needs
    • Track performance through KPIs and manage service delivery

    People

    • Build and develop a team of high-quality professionals
    • Ensure staff are fully trained and competent
    • Manage resourcing KPIs and delegate responsibilities effectively

    Performance and Duties


    The role holder will be assessed according to the employing entity's performance framework. As duties evolve, the job description will be updated in consultation with the role holder.

    The role requires entity-neutral performance and adherence to regulatory requirements. An agreement is in place to govern terms between entities.
