    Description
    Job Description Mondrian Alpha is working with one of the industry-leading hedge funds in the multi-strategy space.

    The fund trades in the major macro asset classes including interest rates, FX, equities, credit, and commodities in developed and emerging markets.

    As the fund continues to growth its strategy offering, a new team has just been created under the Head of Quant Analytics, with the aim of supporting the Investment division with various strategic, quantitative projects.

    You will be responsible for shaping the fund's overall portfolio strategy with quantitative research projects concerning portfolio construction, capital allocation, risk analysis and trade sizing that directly impact trade idea generation.

    As this is a newly created team, there are exceptional opportunities for career progression as the group continues to grow.

    We are looking for a candidate with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a portfolio construction research seat.

    Experience in macro asset classes is ideal, but the hiring manager is open to considering candidates with expertise in any asset class.

    Candidates must also have exceptional academic profiles, as well as a solid understanding of VBA, Python and R skills.

    The role is budgeted to pay a market leading compensation package for year one. They also offer a competitive benefits package.
