    Ridgeway and co are proud to be partnering with a leading fit out contractor in their search for a Building services manager located in Cambridge paying betwen £70,000 - £90,000.

    This role entails immediate involvement in Commercial fit-out projects throughout Cambridgeshire.


    As a Building Services Manager specializing in MEP, you will oversee complex refurbishment and interior fit-out projects for an exclusive clientele in Cambridge.

    You will work within a senior management team comprised of professionals with extensive experience in the High-End Interiors sector.

    Grasp the project requirements, whether derived from performance specifications or knowledge of building systems and standards.


    • Understand existing building systems that need to be retained or modified during the project, including thorough investigation of as-built documentation.
    • Service Pathways: Clarify the layout for services, risers, and connections to support the design development process.
    • Project Planning: Develop a services plan and ensure clear communication with the broader team, both internal and external.
    • Technical Support:

    Quality Assurance:
    Provide plain-English explanations for project developments, risks, and challenges, raising issues promptly with the wider team.


    • Project Handover: Assist in the detailed handover to the delivery team, ensuring complete information transfer about the building and project plan.

    Experience:
    Proven success in managing office fit out projects.


    • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of M&E services, including new build and refurbishment.
