    TheRole

    The role of MarketingAssistant is a junior role and you will be joining an existingmarketing team that has a huge breadth of experience. We arelooking for someone who is selfmotivated and has excellentcommunication skills to support the full mix of marketing plans andactivities at Simpson Associates.

    The successfulapplicant will have a marketing qualification or be degree educatedeither newly graduated or at the beginning of their marketingcareer. You will have excellent attention to detail with theability to work on projects autonomously and as part of the widersales and marketing team.

    KeyResponsibilities

    • To assist themarketing team in generating new leads and opportunities through avariety of marketing activities
    • Collaboratingwith the wider Marketing team to assist work on multichannelcampaigns in line with the overall marketingplan.
    • Assisting with the analysis of customerbehaviour and marketing performance using HubSpot analyticaltools
    • Assisting with the monitoring ofcompetitor activity
    • Writing copy and producingcontent for use within the campaigns to ensure were positioning theofferings for the right audience.
    • Production ofcontent such as blogs white papers emails newsletters infographicssocial media posts press releases.
    • Setting upworkflows and automation within HubSpot including monitoring andanalysing results
    • Production of graphics foruse on email templates/social media/website plus working inconjunction with creative agency wherenecessary.
    • Maintenance of content on companywebsites
    • Creating landing pages/web pages usingWordPress/HubSpot personally and in conjunction with digitalagency
    • Liaising with the sales teams and otherkey stakeholders as relevant to assist with marketingcampaigns
    • Liaising with 3rd party agencies tosupport Marketing activitiesincluding
    • Assistance with facilitating Simpsonsattendance at events and exhibitions virtual and inpersonevents
    • Assisting with all elements related toattendance at an event stand needs branded items lead generationactivities
    • Promoting Simpsons seminarsworkshops or webinars through a number ofchannels
    • Organising corporate events such asannual customer Race Dayevents

    Skills and AttributesRequired

    • Some experience within a B2Bmarketing role would be advantageous
    • Contentwriting skills
    • Some experience in creatingbasic images/graphics for example for Socialmedia
    • Some experience and knowledge of usingsocial media channels to generate leads and customer engagementusing tools such as LinkedIn Twitter
    • Marketingqualification or be degree educated.
    • A passionfor marketing and a strong interest intechnology
    • Excellent communication skills usingtelephone email social media etc.
    • Excellentverbal and written communicationskills
    • Selfmotivated and resultsoriented
    • Excellent attention todetail
    • Excellent organisationalskills
    • Team player whilst also comfortable withworking autonomously
    • Willingness totravel
    • Proficient in MSOffice
    • Fluent or bilingual inEnglish

    Advantageous Qualificationsand Skills

    • Knowledge of an emailmarketing tool such as Hubspot
    • Knowledge ofAdobe Suite including Photoshop Illustrator InDesign or the use ofCanva
